Yourparty.uk is managed by Peace and Justice Project Ltd, a company limited by guarantee (registered number 12945855). The company is the data controller for personal information processed in connection with the Project’s activities, including this website.

For donation processing, MoU Operations Ltd (Company number 16359847) acts as the data controller. MoU Operations Ltd is responsible for collecting and processing personal data associated with donations made via this website and any related financial transactions.

Once the new party is formally constituted, a legal entity will take over responsibility for the party’s legal and financial affairs. At that point, the new legal entity  will become the data controller for your personal information and will continue to use your data in line with your preferences and for the purposes of updating you on news, activities and ways to get involved with the new party.

What we use your data for

Your data will be used for the purposes of contacting you about the foundation process, inviting you to an inaugural conference and associated events, as well as about news and events related to the new party that forms out of the foundation process. 

Who we share your data with

This website runs on the Squarespace platform. For mailing purposes we use Second Street, which records your name, email address, phone number postcode and the sign-up consent you have given to receive emails. For donations we use DonorBox which records your name, email address, donation amount, marketing preferences, card details and billing address.

Sign up data: Sign-up Data: Managed by Peace and Justice Project Ltd and stored via Second Street.

Donation Data: Collected and processed by MoU Operations Ltd using DonorBox, which records your name, email address, donation amount, marketing preferences, card details and billing address. Payment processing services are provided by Paypal and Stripe.

Where you use this website to obtain a service provided by a third party (such as a booking for an event run by a third party), we will share your data with the third party to enable you to receive the service. Payment services on this site are provided by Stripe via Donorbox.

We may share your information with the Electoral Commission and other relevant authorities, as required by law, to verify that donations over £500 are made by registered voters.

How long we retain your data

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will keep your name, contact details, geographical information, and information about your interests and views, for the purpose of communicating with you about our work including future events and activities, until you tell us you no longer wish us to keep it;

We will keep any additional information you supply in relation to a particular interaction (such as registration for an event) only for as long as we need to complete that interaction (such as facilitating the event and providing you with any follow-up information).

We will keep records of donations and related financial information as required by law for accounting and compliance purposes (typically up to 6 years).

What rights you have over your data

If you have shared information with this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including the data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
